Browser would just start on its own after Windows login and show Amazon page. Thought it was spyware or malware or browser hijack. Kept running malware programs and nothing came up. It occurred to me to go to Amazon site. I rooted around a while and finally, down at the Personalization section, under ad preferences, one can opt out of Amazon advertising for a particular browser. You have do it for each browser. I suggest checking that every so often and checking that your Amazon history is turned off. I had turned mine off and it was turned back on. I also changed my password just to be safe.
