We have a final project which will take careful and focused studying. To be certified in medical coding, you need to take a 5-hour 40-minute test, which takes much study. There are some guides and websites I will review as well as some videos on YouTube. There are a few printed study guides you can purchase, but the ICD 9 and 10 manuals provide good reviews in the front of the book. I will also peruse the AAPC forum for tips on coding, using my membership to prepare as well.
